I have been using one for two years and love it, although it doesn't work as well if it breezy. For biting flies I use Bullfrog, nothing better in my opinion.

Agreed with all the above, we have two could not be out near dusk at the cabin without them. Lambjm bullfrog? is that a spray never heard of it, really have not used sprays since the thermocell. Going to Canada soon will bring some spray repellent also.

I have found the little lantern for under $15 and have one of the other units and that only ran $20......check wal mart

I just picked one up from menards to use around my 9mo son. I don't want to use spray on him yet since everything winds up in his mouth. Hopefully it works well for him.

I still got my usual sportsman's max 40% as well. That's the best bug spray I've used. I don't mind spray at all but I mind ticks, flies, and mosquitoes a lot.

i use off clip on religously, wether backyard campfire or on the boat. had it sitting on steering console in middle of boat last sat am between me & my son, not a sinlge bug in 4 hours. IMO, i personally swear by it.
