Wave Wackers?

Swear by them. Its not often I am moving backwards but on big Upper Red somedays it doesnt matter. They have done a good job helping keep things dry and I'm sure a good swamping or two when things go wrong as they can do.

As for instal just make sure if they have the rubber flaps around the motor they can not get into the tilt system AT ALL. My first week out I had a motor stuck down with the rubber flap wedged in the works.

great product. easy install, if you can drill a hole and set a screw, you can install wavewackers. just let them know if you have a tiller or transom mount trolling motor and what side they are mounted on. if not just plane wavewackers on each side. they do have a web site and it explanes everything

I orderd them a little after my post. Real nice guy on the phone, answered alot of my questions. Price was a little high but its a custom job and at least the money stays in Minnesota.

Ive fished a few times on Rainy Lake where I was getting some waves over the Stern, It looks like thay may help a little, if any thing it will give the Dog some cover ...Thanks for your Input Jonny P.

You will not believe how much serf the Wackers can stop. They do have their limits and sometimes you might get a good shower. Rainy just became a lot more fishable for you. The Wackers also help with boat control when back-trolling into a stiff wind.

I have a set..... somewhere between Chamberlain South Dakota and Lakefield Mn. Thought I had them secured in the bottom of the boat, but I guess not. I did like them real well for the time that I had them.

Wave Wacker all the way! I have a few buddies with White Caps and they dont even compare to the fit and finish of the Wave Wacker. They might be a little more but imo its well worth it. This is one product where I say you get what you pay for.

Not interested in a PIS SIN match, but that's very unique opinion. I've looked around ALOT at reviews, and never heard that one, even from guys with WW's. Nothing wrong with WW's, but to say WC's don't compare (fit and finish) is simply false, IMO.

We both agree on Skeeters though wink.

Goose- good call on the skeeter grin Must have seen me on the other sites. I still cant figure out how to post pics on this dang site lol.

The like you said not looking for a peeing match but the reason I say that is because I dont like the mounting brackets for the WC. With the bottom not running the whole length when I was running my cousins boat the water would shoot up between the boat and the wacker. Both serve a good purpose I just like the WW better. Call it personal preference if need be smile
