How much to charge for snowblowing

You could consider doing it for free and having an IOU floating around. Otherwise your $25 sounds reasonable. I have a 3 car that is about 75 feet long and I think it took me about 45 minutes to do it today because I was making sure that I had enough future snow storage capacity.

FWIW - for our cabin, which we use every weekend, we pay a guy $25 per "more than 3-4 inch" snow whenever it happens. That is 100' drive and a turn around. I think it is good deal. Good luck.

It sounds like a nice neighborly thing to do! Not to be Mr negative, but also consider liability issues...might be cheaper to leave it to the insured professionals. It would be very unfortunate to get sued by the mail delivery person/fed-ex, etc, if they slip and fall. Once you charge for services, I believe it opens up a can of worms. With that being said, I think your rates are reasonable. City driveways are typically charged $15 per stall by contractors ( 3 stall garage = $45),etc. Not looking to start any arguments ove this....trying to look at all the angles.

My neighbor is living in Florida and asked me to blow snow off her 3 car driveway. I'm wondering what a fair price would be to charge. I'm thinking $25, what say you (typical suburban 1/3 acre lot, 3 car garge).

Upon reflection, you could look at how long it takes and charge accordingly.
