How many deer stands do you own?

Me myself and I own 5 each hah. I will be buying the Tree Saddle this summer though because moving those ladder stands is noisy and they get noisy with any kind of movement this time of year. And I think adapability to deer and the weather is key! and that saddle should be quiet and easy to move around

Maybe???

Funny but I bought a used API. Like the old Baby Grands but it has a round swivel seat on it.

I first used them when hunting with a guide in Missouri so I bought one. I hated the fact that I wasn't strong enough to turn the T screw in far enough so I rarely used it. Finally a guy at work showed me how used the box end of a wrench to get a little more leverage on the T screw. I tried it and now it is easy to install/uninstall. I think API needed to do a better job of showing people how to install the T-screws. It was the biggest complaint I heard from most hunters about the stands. I love them now, just needed a bit more leverage.

19 is a solid number but onto the next question when do you think you will have enough?

I am sitting at 10 and I think I could easily use 20, hard to imagine needing more than 30 but I guess I won't know until I get there.

My opinion is that you can never have "enough".

If I really like a spot then I like to setup multiple stands for multiple winds.

Also, if I get another property to hunt then I will need more stands. I do have 4 stands hung that I never hunted this last year for a variety of factors. I may pull them next year or maybe there will be better sign around them and I will hunt them harder.

That's just it, you start hunting multiple properties, multiple states, it gets a little crazy. I agree with most, I don't think you can have too many. I've got ideas in my head where I'd like to hang stands in a half-dozen spots. That's just one property.

Good point guys, like you said you never really have enough. I really only have one property where I put stands out for rifle season so 15 to 25 stands for that one area should keep me in good shape. The rest of the time I stay fairly mobile bow season so I don't need as many stands.
