JIvers
Favres going to retire this week aftr he gets benched or even Monday when he admits to himself that he wont let his legend of a career go down the toilet with a swirlly As a Viking fan I would like to see this...but it ain't happening. This season is over, except for the meaningless games. Next year's Viking team (assuming there is no lockout) is going to look very different, and it is time to begin moving on from the vets and free agents who won't be there. That should include Favre, but it won't.
Born2Fish
Yeah no matter what, this season is basically over. I will still watch every single game, but I have no expectations left (should I even have any after that joke of a game?). I will hand it to the Packers, they kicked the Vikings a$$es up and down the field all game long. Get rid of Childress....It is about time. I am sick and tired of him still having a job. And get Favre the heck off that field. I could care less if T Jack plays. I just do not think that we need Favre out there any longer. I would much rather see Webb playing, but I doubt that will happen UNLESS Childress is gone tomorrow morning. Good try Vikings, but its time to play for a draft pick. flipper
Some of those knuckaheads on espn are saying that the Vikings have to keep starting Favre because "Favre is bigger than the team". I say BULLFEATHERS to that. Maybe that is there whole problem is that they treat one player as if he is bigger than the team.
harvey lee
I hope they lose the rest of thier games.Next season Farve and Chilly will be gone and we should have a high draft pick. The Vikes are not even worth watching any more. I am glad I didn't even bother as they are a sad team to say the least.Chilly also has to go. If not, send the Vikes elsewhere and no stadium with my money. croixflats
Interesting thoughts. Childress will have another revaluation of I see my weaknesses and Ziggy will fall for it again so will most fans so status the same. Favre is a big ???????? with Child in charge, maybe a guarantee if Ziggy feels the money is there and the fans keep coming. Man, I feel bad for those prepaid suckers. Not! The writing was on the wall suckas
fishersofmen
I'm one of many who wanted Favre back this year but wow. Goes from his best year ever to his worst year ever back to back. I realize its not completely his fault by any means. This team has alot of issues at the, O-line, D-line, secondary (Cook got his a$$ beat today), and reciever spots. The only bright spots IMO have been Peterson, Harvin and the linebackers have looked very good. Gerhart looks promising as well.
Born2Fish
Asher Allen got his butt handed to him all day too. Our safeties were not even playing I don't think!
FISHINGURU
Yeah our secondary is not very good, Winfield is our best corner and even his cover skills are average at best, one of the best tackling corners in the league though but mediocre coverage. To many holes in our zones anyway unless the QB only gets 2 seconds, any longer then that we are toast.Madieu could very well be the worst safety in the game, I've never seen a safety get clowned like that week after week. One of the worst O-lines in football bar none, kind of funny the average fan could tell you coming into this offseason that secondary and oline were some of our biggest holes and yet we did nothing to fix that. Now this year we can't cover anyone and Brett has no more then 2 seconds tops to get rid of the ball to a bunch of mediocre recievers (besides Percy). Peterson gets maybe 1 lane a game to get to the second level, the rest is all him.I won't hate on Brett, he's had no time and we haven't had much for recievers along with some pretty bad play calling. Alot of his pics were tipped balls and just plain bad luck, yeah he's had his fair share of dumb throws too don't get me wrong but he's just trying to make something happen. The season has been done for weeks ago, I'm up in the air about what we do about Brett, we all knew he wasn't the future. It don't really matter at this point, I'm just happy I didn't have to see Junkson on the field for the past year and a half, for that I have to thank Brett. CANOPY SAM
Oh, the ugliness! All I can do is shake my head and stare at the ground in disbelief. Will we ever see MN play at the same level as many of the other NFL teams? I can only pray they don't send the whole franchise packing. I can't imagine living in MN without the Vikes, but if I were Wolf I'd be looking pretty hard at the bottom line.
LMITOUT
I haven't seen a beating like that since someone shoved a banana down the front of my pants and turned a monkey loose.
JIvers
Thank you, Green Bay--your performance yesterday made today's wonderful news in Vikingland possible. Without you, Chilly might still be employed for another week.
