Which stands for First Hard Frost.. I could be wrong, but I think this weekend will be the first of the fall.. I been wrong before... but no mater what.. the secret word is FHF.

26 bass this morning, but none bigger than 18.5 (though there were a half-dozen fat ones that size). Lost on BEAUTY near the boat thanks to an impatient hookset that would have been a contender.

It's just as well, as I left the paper with FHF on it in my truck

I'm hoping I can sneak out once more either this evening or early tomorrow AM...bass bite on Leech is on fire!

Here's the pictures of my biggest one from Saturday. It measured 19" and 4 lbs 1 oz on my digital scale. I didn't have the word with me, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

Here's my big fish of the day. Only 18.5 on the board, but a very thick healthy fish. I would guess close to 4 1/2 lbs.

Fishing was decent, two of us caught around 12 bass in two hours. Most fish were caught on spinner baits, DT4s and small cranks. Tried hard jerkbaits, but the water was probably still a bit warm (60 degrees) Gorgeous afternoon to be outside!

Nope... I fish 8 or ten lakes on a regular basis. last several have been all different lakes.
