Steve Foss
No Favre-led team has ever made the playoffs after starting 0-2. Past performance does not dictate future success. I for one would like to see the Vikes make the playoffs. That way we can beat them down THREE times in one year!
LMITOUT
Past performance does not dictate future success. Sure it does. They're called statistical trends. If they make it to the playoffs then it's called a fluke.

FISHINGURU
This is working out perfectly, if we were really lucky Chilly would be sent packing but we all know that won't happen. So the second plan has to be get Vincent Jackson because it's what we have to do. When he gets to play and Sidney comes back I hope we are a .500 team at that point because then it will be on like donkey kong.We actually dominated the Fishes but got out coached once again. Shack
That or exactly what was done in the Movie Major League. Quote: Rachel Phelps, a former Las Vegas showgirl, has inherited the Cleveland Indians baseball team from her deceased husband. She wants to move the team to the warmer climate of Miami. In order to do this, she must reduce attendance at Municipal Stadium below a total of 800,000 ticket sales which will trigger an escape clause in the team's lease with the city of Cleveland. After she moves the team, she would also be able to release all the current players and replace them with new ones. She instructs her new General Manager Charlie Donovan to hire the worst team possible from a list she has already prepared. The list includes Jake Taylor, a catcher faced with retirement, wooed to make a comeback for one last chance to play in the Majors, who due to his age has problems with his knees, and was last playing in Mexico, incarcerated pitcher Rick Vaughn, the brash but speedy center fielder Willie "Mays" Hayes (who was not invited to camp), power hitting outfielder Pedro Cerrano, who practices voodoo to try to help him hit curve balls, veteran pitcher Eddie Harris, who lacks a strong throwing arm and is forced to doctor his pitches, and third baseman Roger Dorn, who is already under contract but is a high-priced prima donna. As manager, Phelps hires Lou Brown, a tire salesman who "has managed the Toledo Mud Hens for the last 30 years". Sound familiar?
Nate McVey
So is Favre like Jake Taylor or Roger Dorn?

DTro
Teams that start 0-2 only make the playoffs 13% of the time. MARATHON NOT SPRINTHistory shows that 0-2 teams advance to the playoffs more often than people might think. Since the current playoff format was instituted in 1990, 22 teams started 0-2 and still qualified for the postseason. The 1993 Dallas Cowboys started 0-2 before winning Super Bowl XXVIII.The 0-2 New England Patriots of 1996 played in Super Bowl XXXI, and in 2001, the 0-2 Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI.Most recently, the 2007 New York Giants started 0-2 before winning Super Bowl XLII.The 0-2 teams since 1990 to qualify for the playoffs:INCLUDING THE 2008 VIKESso run en tell that....homeboy
