last 2 times i went it poured rain both days. If it rains this year I will be the guy at camp all day long. Nothing wrong with a little rain but poring all day long gives me a headache

After seeing the above response, imagine my surprise to get the "congratulations" letter the other day. My first time. Any tips on camping, "the line", taking care of downed animals, etc., would be appreciated.

That's always a nice surprise. We'll be up the 2nd weekend as well. It's an experience, that's for sure. The line depends on how you'll be making your camping arrangements. I wouldn't worry much about where you end up. Last year, we were 20 rigs from the end of the line and still made it up a tree before light.
