Bobby Bass
BIG white spinner baits with big 4"white grubs for trailers. Also Buzzbaits have a place when the time is right. My favorite is live frogs, toss them out and hold on!
abcnerdd
Got to be spinnerbait. If the lake is murky and green, use a chareuse/yellow/black/red and if the water is clear go with white.
Bassman55
Spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and a jig. Thats about all I use once its true fall.
swampbuck
Jigs, Crankbaits, senko and for some reason I catch some of my biggest bass of the year in October on a buzzer. They will come up and hit when its cold out for some reason.
RK
J...for some reason I catch some of my biggest bass of the year in October on a buzzer. Me too. I like buzzbaits in fall far more than I like them in spring and summer, especially as a big fish bait. I use jigs a lot, and big crabkbaits. When the weeds die off on the flats you can usually find green weeds, especially coontail, that's still green on deep edges, on the calm side of points, and in inside turns. Green coontail beds can be fish magnets in fall, so football heads, jig and pig and deep diving cranks are mainstays for me all fall.Cheers,Rob Kimm
bassfshin24
I had an amazing fall last year on spinnerbaits. I use a lot of jigs as well. Im really looking forward to fall fishing. cant wait for the temps to start dropping.

TurnUpTheFishing
Everything that worked in the summer works in the fall for me.Some things Ill do in the fall that I dont do much other times of the year is add more swimbaits into the mix. As the water really cools Ill throw some pointers or other suspending jerkbaits and slow roll colorado blade spinnerbaits (I rarely throw spinnerbaits any other time).Lots of times for me in the fall I end up going with faster moving baits so I can cover water looking for active fish. river rat316
Jigs, especially hair jigs, or hair silicone jigs. Big white spinnerbait with a white willow blade usually burned around points and inside turns almost always catches me the biggest of the fall, definitely not a numbers bait, but for whatever reason a big fish baitRattle trap, red craw usually dead sticking a stick bait when the bite is really toughbig worms t rigged or even a trailer on a regular silicone jigSwim Baits, they can be hit or miss but were pretty productive for me last fall in a short window! cruiseforever
Thanks for the imput. Still trying to figure out fall fishing. Hunting is no longer with the effort. What type of trailers do you like with the jigs?
RK
Hiya - I've really gotten to like Paca Craws for trailers, both on football heads and with skirted jigs. A Jungle Hog type bait with the front 1/3 bitten off is good too actually. Anything bulky will do though.I might be one of the last holdouts, but I still think when the water gets real cold (under 50) pork will outfish plastics. Gimme a 6" pork eel... Or a big black marabou jig. Cheers,Rob Kimm
EBass
I love jigs and I still use the small bitsy bug type jigs with a crayfish type trailer. I also like minnow raps or stickbaits that I can pause, and I will toss a spinnerbait here and there. Pretty much like everyone else. It's getting motivated to go out fishing in 38 degree weather with a brisk wind from the NW, that's the hard part.

Jig Master
speaking of pork, is uncle josh the only brand left out there for actually pork rinds? I know strike king used to have the bo-hawg trailer, but has since discontinued it....
