Record book deer shot last fall?

What was the final concensus of the deer that were supposed to be a world record buck like the one shot in Wisconsin? Milo Hanson buck still number 1?

Both MN & WI had new state record non-typicals last fall. Mel still sits atop with the #1 typical.

i guess it was a lot smaller then they thought state record but not world record

The final score on the Monster was 243.75 inches Non Typical, which topped the previous Buffalo County buck by 10 inches. Considering the WR Non Typical w/bow is 294 0/8, the early reports are funny to read now. Still a very impressive creature.

Here we go with some real numbers: "The antlers had 29 scorable points. The typical 12-point frame has a gross of 197 6/8, and net of 185 5/8. There were 17 additional abnormal points totaling 58 1/8 inches of growth. The inside spread was 20 5/8. Thus the final score of 2436/8."

no thats the ripley buck, the wisconsin deer aka the field and stream buck is this one
