To start up those augers and let them get warmed up. 2 pulls and the Nils popped off so I set the choke to half and she fired right up. I ran it for about 2 minutes and put her back on the shelf.

I love the looks the neighbors give me when I fire up the auger in the middle of the driveway in July. They think I'm nuts. I went to the auto parts store the other day for a new plug for my auger. He asked what it was for. When I told him he slapped me upside the head. I can't help it, I always have ice on the brain.

Just got back from a wheeler ride, playing in the mud, grabbed the auger and fired it up. What a sweet day.

Done my Nils twice so far and it started on the second pull both times. Mine I like that Amsoil. No smoke or nothin.

I did something different this last spring, I drained every drop of gas out of the tank and then drained the carb float bowl. I was going to pull the spark plug out and give it a shot of fogging oil but didn't have any at the time, but I should still do it since we have a few months to go.

I also do the same thing with my generator but since it's a four stroke I don't need the fogging oil, just pull it over from time to time.

Fired up the ol Lazer Mag after reading this!! Man it sounded good!!!

I also unfolded the clams, the little one and the 6800 and relubed all of the poles and hinges. Fired up the vex for a bit and plopped my batteries on the charger for a while!! Took all the mono off of my reels! Ahh it felt so good!!
