This is a pretty awsome sunfish I got Saturday. it is a pumpkinseed green sunfish mix. unfortunately it was cloudy so I couldn't get the most of its colors, but it still looks pretty good.

Nice work, Mike. On the cloudy vs sunny, in this case you are much better off with cloudy, as bright sun would have caused a lot of very distracting mirrorlike reflections off the fish scales, and you can always bump saturation a bit in photoshop if you'd like.

Sure is a pretty fish.

I made full use of saturation and got lots of the color back. had to crop out my hand in the last one, it was almost purple haha.

no lens (lenses?)were used I just use a cheapie digital camera

I agree the first one is awesome. On the same line as what Steve said,I also think the cloudy sky was an asset here. Sunny sky would not have produced such a beautiful image.

I love a big sunny to playwith on my ultralight. there colors are so cool, I never think to take pics of them. Maybe I should start. Good Captures.
