KTapper
Well the NFL network plays this every year and I watch it every year and I still haven't figured out why I watch it when I get angry and watery eyed. The first one is on Sunday night at 10pm and is the 1969 Vikings, and the second is on at 11pm and is the 1998 Vikings. So will they eventually have a missing rings for the 2009 Vikings? For those that arent familiar the missing rings show is for teams that haven't won a superbowl or a team that should have won one.Enjoy! ps. atleast this is the last year we will be without a ring!! SFC
This will be the last year you see this show! The vikes will find the ring this season on their fingers! Purple Pride!!!
zamboni
The Titans are another one that should have a show. That play against the Rams in the Super Bowl would still irk me if I were a Titans fan.
CJH
Agreed! The Vikes lost to the the best team last year, not deserving.
ozzie
they lost to "the best team" but they had to give "the best team" the ball 5 times on turnovers and even take a penalty in the last few seconds to take them out of FG range!! the vikes were the best team but they just completely choked!!!!!!!!!!! SkunkedAgain
Ahhh, it's funny to see this every time... "My team choked" or "We gave the game away." So many fans lack any ability to notice when another team is playing good, and making the plays. The Saints caused turnovers plain and simple. For the Missing Rings segment, shouldn't you at least make it to the Super Bowl to have a missing ring? Otherwise there are 31 teams missing a ring from last year!

Right....... The Saints had nothing to do with those turnovers. The Saints were only second in the league in forced turnovers.

Yep, the Aint's caused a few turnovers, we also had sloppy ball control and desicion making that gave them a few as well. The Vikings gave that game away, especially down the stretch. We were the best team in the league, but we didn't win when we needed to.
LMITOUT
The Vikings were the best team in the league? Really? The Saints were the best team in the league all season, hands down, and I'm not sure why its even a question.
zamboni
The Vikings were the best team in the league? The Saints were the best team in the league all season, hands down. Luckiest team, not the best. Redskins game is the best example of how lucky they were, and that wasn't the only game they got lucky. They were good, but don't fool yourself, nowhere near an elite team that won a Super Bowl. Had they lost that Redskins game (like they should have) and we beat the Bears (like we should have) and that NFC Championship game is played under OUR dome and we wouldn't have lost. LMITOUT
San Fransisco game ring a bell?Talk about luck...Almost forgot about that Ravens game where they were only a missed FG away from losing that one AT HOME.
zamboni
San Fransisco game ring a bell?Talk about luck... Rocket arm, not luck. Guy taking ball out of another guys hands then taking it for a touchdown, and a missed chip shot FG in that redskins game. That is luck
zepman
I don't think the Saints were the best team throughout the entire season but they were at the end...and that's all that matters.
FISHINGURU
The Saints had a horseshoe lodged up their @ss all season, luckiest team I've ever seen , even more then the Patriots were during their run.

They were great in the Super Bowl, I know I lost $20 to my brother (who used to live there) over that game. But over the course of the season they were extremely lucky.
