The best contribution baker can make to the twins right now is to throw himself down a flight of stairs and be put on the DL for the rest of the season. wink

I'm glad to see gardy stick with blackburn after giving up the homer in the 9th. That sucked, but it was still a great outing for him. Awesome play on defense by hardy...I think punto was surprised to turn around and see the runner not standing on 3rd. Great to see them pull through and get the win for blackburn.

Yeah if there was ever a nice time to get a sweep this would really be it! Open up that gap over the Tigers a little bit! Heck, even the Orioles have a sweep (Over Boston no less) this year!

Delmon should have had that ball in the outfield. I think he will get more comfortable as the season goes. He seems to struggle going back on fly balls, but has made some nice running grabs in front of him this year! Hardy came up clutch and so far it seems like it is different guys every night which is what good teams do! Ramos cooled off tonight which isn't surprising but I was sorta wanting him to get the big game winning hit but that was a very nice win and quick response by the Twins to get the run back right away in the 9th and finish off Detroit!

Agreed, Young should have had that one, but look where it hit his glove...right in the meat of the hand, which means he slightly overran it. Anyone think he is still adjusting to his new-found speed after shedding 30 pounds? He may need a little more time to get in sync with his quicker speed and reaction time (never thought I'd say that!). Overall, awesome game, and glad to see Blacky get back to form...ground ball outs and double plays. Hardy, however, was definitely the hero. I thought that triple was gone-Johnson until it tagged the wall. Nice win.

Young should of had that ball, and it should have been scored as a error. over all Young is a good player, he just cant ran backwards and catch a ball. Maybe he will over come that, but I doubt it. I can live with that as long as he continues to produce behind the plate. Every player has weak spots, its just whether your strong points outway your weak spots, and so far I would say Youngs have this year.
