I'm jealous! I am trying to listen to it with bad reception.... can;t wait for the night games.

You KNOW things are going good when Punto has two doubles! Twins lead 8-0. Frankie was awesome today!

I like the day games, I can watch them on tv. The night games, I am usually out fishing, and I cant ever get 1500 in my boat. So I have to keep track of the Twins on my cell phone.

Try 1420 on the dial if your within striking distance of Mankato.

I agree with mrklean. To me this team will prove itself if they can beat the Yankees who swept them last year (season and playoffs.) All of the sudden a series with Toronto would make for great TV! Still a chance to knock around some divisional competition this weekend. Good chance to get our 4th series win this weekend, but the Royals aren't playing too poorly yet!

Those pocket schedules have ALL of the stations that broadcast the Twins throughout the state. When I am travelling I just put my finger on the AM/FM seek button and get the game on some channel eventually. It helps if you do it while the game is on as opposed to during a commercial break. Otherwise you may miss the channel.

It sure is a fun game to watch right now. The Twins are making the Red Sox look silly, I hope they can do that to all teams!

I was at the 8-0 game. The red sox didn't need much help from the twins in looking silly. They looked absolutely awful and the Twins took advantage.

Baseball tonight did a nice bit last night on the twins superior baserunning, and sitting at the game yesterday it was very apparent.

I can't remember who was on first base late in the game for the sox, but a single was hit to right and the 1st base runner had a good chance to go first to third, but just jogged down to second instead. i know they were down by runs and needed baserunners, but the guy could've at least made it look like he was hustling.

the twins on the other hand were hustling and took advantage of a couple outfield bobbles to pick up extra bases. and the punto double that dribbled into shallow right center. he got that double on his first 5 steps out of the box. hustling all the way... very impressive. those are things you don't always see on tv.

if you've got an iPhone you can stream home or away audio on the MLB 2010 At Bat app. As well as any other home/away audio for other MLB games. As long as you have cell reception, then you are set! I agree with AM, sucks for out of metro areas like mine. 1500 AM does not come in good at all.

We also have a FM affiliate in my area. Check the Twins Radio Network HSOforum to see if there is one in your area. Sounds so much clearer on FM then AM! I never agreed with Twins switching from WCCO to 1500. I can easily catch WCCO up on the North Shore if I wanted to. Much stronger signal.

Was it Span or Young that was a little over aggressive running the bases yesterday? Rounded second for third while Punto was standing on the base???

Span, but i think he was shocked to see that Punto was held at third. it sure looked like Span would've made it to third and Punto would've scored if he had been sent. but, after the throw from the cutoff man went home, none of the sox infielders were in position to make a play anyways.

    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
    • The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
    • It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
    • We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
    • I've been out on the flats. It's like being on a different planet
