What's a bandwagon fan?

I don't follow any team when they stink. It's called bad product.

We hear it from players and coaches all the time: Pro sports is a business. Company "X" has has a product they want to sell to customer "Y". Deliver a high quality product and you will sell it. Deliver a low quality product and you won't.

I've been a fan of the Purple going on 4 decades now. When they are good (like this year and last), I'm buyin' the product; when they stink, I ain't interested.
