Well, it matters to US . . .

I've always been a realist. I want my Packers to win every single game. But that ain't gonna happen. Odds are high they'll win the wild card game and then lose in the next round. If they win, they'd be huge underdogs for the NFC championship game.

And let's be honest. None of these NFC teams is invincible. We protect Rodgers well to cut back the sacks and get the penalties in line and the Pack are VERY hard to beat. But even though I think they win the first and lose the second, I'm watching on any given Sunday. I don't WANT it to happen, and I'll be in there rooting for my team and not being a poor-mouth.

So I say again, Go Pack! gringrin

Vikings win assures Packers will play Cardinals in playoffs

Thanks to the Minnesota Vikings win over the Giants, no matter the result of today's game, the Packers and Cardinals will meet in Arizona next weekend in the NFC Wild Card playoffs.

The Vikings' 44-7 win not only means they can finish no lower than a 3-seed in the NFC, but also eliminates Arizona's chances of a first-round bye.

All that remains to be determined in the NFC is seeding. Regardless of the outcome between the Eagles and Cowboys today, the Packers and Cardinals will meet in the playoffs based on tie-breakers with those teams.

With a win, the Packers will own the 5-seed. If the Packers lose and the Cowboys win, Green Bay will fall to the 6-seed. However, they would still play Arizona, who owns the tie-breaker over Dallas for the 3-seed in the NFC.

Yep, gonna be a whole different game next time. Same result? Sure hope so. That one will matter to us, too. gringrin

And I'm sure the haters will be out in force watching for any weakness in the Pack next week to stick in their barbs, since they'll be idle for that round. Haters make the world an ugly place. winkwink

The Packers are not a bad group of kids, with that said I really hate their fans. And as long as were on the subject of hating, I still hate the Los Angeles Rams!!!!!!

Just wait until the 2011 season and you can hate the Los Angeles Vikings too grin

Hey, the Packers ended up 11-5.

That's not too bad.

If it wasn't for the ghost of Favre haunting them they very well could have won the division.

It sure would be fun to see the Packers back at the Dome for 1 more game and see the ghost haunt them 1 more time.
