Spearing lakes/St. Cloud area

I have just gotten back into spearing since college and the first attempt around the St. Cloud area. What are some of the clearer lakes to spear on around St. Cloud. thanks

I'll tell you which ones NOT spear as far as clarity...

Right now all of the spunks are cloudy, was on watab yesterday and it's murky also little rock is pea soup.

Clearwater has always been good for clarity and some good size fish too.

Rice is somewhat clear...so is eden and vails as well as north browns and a few other areas on the chain. Grand was pretty clear this weekend as was Big. I moved a lot around from lake to lake this weekend...found clear water but not many fish. Goodluck in your search.

i fished grand a few years ago and could see clear in almost 15 feet and that was though a 8 inch hole

I have speared north browns a couple years ago and it was clear then..

i seen fish on clearwater, just no angle to spear them!

Check out Francis south of kimball, very clear lake!
