Gopher Bowl on NFL Network

Does anyone know why out of 34 bowl games the gophers game is the only one on Premium TV.Espn and networks have every other game. Always something with Minnesota Sports. DrJ.

I think because the university is embarassed by Brewsters coaching and this is a way to minimize nationwide embarassment. It's a big conspiracy to keep the U down.

My guess is that it has something to do with the Insight Bowl and their tv contract. I'm pretty sure last year's Insight Bowl was also on the NFL Network. It makes no sense, does it? It seems to me that they are more interested in making money from the tv contract instead of showcasing the sport of football.

YOU HAVE TWO 6-6 TEAMS WITH ONE GOING TO HAVE A LOSING RECORD GOING TO A SO CALLED "Bowl". PLEASE. I love my alumni,, but please, the Gophs stink and ISU is not far behind.

Why is it that outta of roughly 120 D1 teams , that over half play in a bowl??? COME ON. that's a joke and so are 70% of the bowls. One blessing is that since about 5% of homes get the NFL Network, 95% of homes will be spared the misery of watching teams that would lose to alot of D2 teams

There is 34 bowl games? Couldn't be about the money, could it. Have they got a bowl game called the Jester Bowl yet ? What is worst the Dog food bowl or a reality TV show? This is ridiculous the amount of bowl games.

There will be at least 1 more bowl game next year...the yankee bowl, played at yankee stadium. I believe it will be big east #5 vs. big 12 #7.

I like all the Bowl games. Who cares how good each team is or what they're record is...there's only one National Championship game anyway. There are always some really great games played each year with teams that you don't get the opportunity to watch during the regular season. Wyoming/Fresno is a good example of that....great game and very entertaining/competitive...just what the Bowls were meant to be.

This NFL network stuff is a joke.
