Winter meetings are over, again nothing done by our Twins.

With the glaring needs left to be filled, the only real move the Twins did was trade Boof to Boston for the infamous "player to be named later". Sure would be nice to see another pitcher (or two) and a third baseman.

I heard rumors that Red Dog was cut but can't find anything on that on their HSOforum. Anyone know for sure? As much as I like the guy, I guess his days were numbered. That Jose Morales kid they brought up last year sure could hit...

If the Yanks make the playoffs, that isn't guaranteed every year, either. If the Rays won that division every year for 50 years, I would never get tired of it. If the Yanks or Sox do for 2 years I get sick of it.

I think they were picked to win it last year and the Rays did. Never know. Look at the Rockies and Marlins, they are always sniffing the playoffs.

Not that the yanks needed any added help to beat the twins, but the addition of granderson (bonefide twins killer) is a sure bet they win every game against us next year

Hopefully the rays can make a run for the wild card, they just couldn't seem to put strings of wins together in the season, and by the end they just gave up. I definitely would like to see some different teams that's for sure, texas in the west and tampa as the wild card.

With Lackey allready signed and an offer on the table for that young Cuban flame thrower I believe the Red Sox will be right there again next year. They may need some power but not much when the other team is held to 1 or 2 runs at most.
