mainbutter
Jeez I've been fishing since I was a kid I don't remember all the specific species once we get into stream trout and especially rough fish. And FORGET about trying to figure out all the weird stuff I've caught out of the ocean. I'm proud that it only took my first full fishing season in MN to land a 48'' musky in this wonderful state I've had worse luck trying to chase channel cats! Edit: The list that is easier for me to put together are the species I'd love to catch but haven't had the luck yet. I'll stick to MN fish: 1) flathead catfish 2) black crappie 3) eelpout 4) bowfin 5) sauger 6) walleye (only caught these once in my life, over 10 years ago and in canada) That's what I've gotta work on next season

Jim Jensen
Wow, I've been fishing for thirty some years and I would have no idea which ones I have and haven't caught. Other than the common ones. Also if you fish in other states fish have different names. In Louisiana the Bowfin is called a Shoepick and a Fresh Water Drum (Sheephead) is called a Gaspergoo. I've caught them so I guess that is two for my list. I did alot of saltwater fishing down there, I wouldn't have any clue what I have caught other than the Redfish. I think it would have been cool if I would have kept a list. I guess I could start now.
