bassNspear
Sit the last few games of the year to rest for the playoffs, and make Taylor the back for the last two games of the regular Season

Jim Uran
No way that will happen. AP won't let that happen. He wants to be out there all of the time.

solbes
If they have the first round bye wrapped up after week 16, I would consider pulling both Favre and AP after the first half. Keeps them fresh, but still gives them some playing time to stay sharp. They should also get the first week of the playoffs to rest. It would also give Jackson some real playing time. QB is where we are most vulnerable if we had an injury. If the home field throughout is still undecided going into week 17, I'd play them both the duration of the game. Home field could be the deciding factor between Saints & Vikings.
FISHINGURU
they will treat week 17 like a preseason game if we have everything locked down.
Coach1310
It all depends on where the playoff scenario's fall. If we are still battling for the #1 seed, everyone will play. If we are locked into #1 or #2, then I think the first one sitting will be Favre, followed by anyone else that is dinged up. And if they sit AP, I doubt Chester will be doing the work... he is pretty valuable too.
SkunkedAgain
Injuries happen in the NFL. The teams that make it to the end are often the ones lucky (or smart) enough to avoid them. However, I think that nothing compares to keeping the taste of blood in a player's mouth. I wouldn't let off the throttle until that trophy was in my hands. Childress can pull players out once games are in hand and the day's battle is done, but I don't think you ever hold a player out an entire game.I'd rather get hounded by the media about a strategic injury than why my team didn't seem motivated/prepared to win a playoff game. zamboni
He keeps fumbling and resting him might not be an option, he might find himself only on the field on passing downs
