Western North Dakota. A day of Horned Creatures

Recommended Posts

I spent only 2 hours in the Theodore Rosevelt National Park yesterday and in that 2 hours managed a picture of pretty much evey wild aninmal that lives there. Buffaloes, Sheep, Pronghorns, Mullies, badgers, prarie dogs, golden eagle etc. It was a hayday I didn't really even have to work at it. Here are some horned creatures:

All shot with Canon XTi 100-400L IS USM using a window mount. Sitting in the warmth of my vehicle. It was a balmy 25 degrees, snowing and windy.

Thanks everyone, I will try and post some landscapes I did later on. Didn't get home till after midnight Sunday night so still trying to catch up on some sleep around here. Had to go to Williston for Work and only had a little while. I wish now I had more time. What A great weekend for a trip out with tthe exception of the 40mph wind, the 20 degrees and overcast.
