51 on Saturday!!! All we need is a little open water and a lot of wind. I'm giving the long range forecast another 5-10 days before I get serious about getting the boat out of storage. Got some work that needs to be done on the boat and the trailer, then....anchors away!!!

+1!!! It's time to dust off boat and get it out of the corner of the garage and get her ready for open water! I am planning on getting the boat wet for the virgin trip of the year at the end of the month. Granted it will be on the Rainy River in northern MN, open water is open water. Can't wait!

Didn't make it out on the 31st,but did go for a bit on sunday. Ended up going to Wascot instead hoping it would be warmer! Was about 65 and little wind when we got there, fished a little but mostly just paddled around. Never caught a fish! Wind picked up about an hour in,had to stay close to shore,no fish around shore. With all the family stuff this weekend prolly wont get out until next week. My first ever rod build is on the dryer right now! Will post some pics when its done.

very cool man. Is your plan to sell them? I like the fishi illustration..

Made it out with Sherpa, and another buddy Friday and Saturday night!

Made it out Friday night-Did not catch much for gillies but sure got into bass and pike. Was fun to reel in fish.. They tasted delicious too!! HAHA just kidding.....Did this down by Minong

Saturday morning got up early and caught a few crappies and gills at another lake near spooner. Again, fun to reel in fish, did not keep anything....
