Bass - 20" (Chequamegon Bay)

Catfish - 45" (Minnesota River)

Carp/Sturgeon - 58" (Rainy River)

Crappie - 15" (Upper Red Lake)

Musky - 48" (Cass Lake)

Northern - 40" (Lake of the Woods)

Trout - 24" (Burntside Lake)

Walleye - 29" (Minnesota River, Mille Lacs, Lake of the Woods... got big ones from all 3 of those bodies of water)

Fish Index Total = 279

Can (should) improve in the Sturgeon category and with the right trout trip, 30" shouldn't be too hard. I've definitely got room for another 12 points easy.

Over half those fish are through the ice as well! wink

Hmmmm... me thinks some of you are cheating a bit. wink

Original poster mentioned the 8 species categories found on FM and no more.

Even though you added a couple as well Jim, your # is unbelievable. Get you on the right catfish and I don't think anyone will touch your score!

Oh,ok.. I dropped my Bluegill measurement..

Yeah.. I want to catch a big CAT!!! Bring em on Hanson.. And, am sure there are folks out there that can go well over 300.. I know a few... But, by looking through this, some impressive sized fish all FMers catch.. Great job!!

Well time to go hunt for more big fishes..

Geez, JKH, spend much time on Chequamegon? I think that bay shouldn't be allowed! laugh

I must be one of the only guys on this site that hasn't broken the 28" mark on the walleyes. You'd think with all the time I spent on Winnie that'd be an easy mark.....

I don't think there are any "official" rules, but if we are comparing apples to apples, I think a trout is a trout and bow is not a fishing pole.

I can agree with that. Edit below, and I like the location thing so I've added mine in.

Bass - 23 (private pond, MI)

Catfish - 34 (Burke lake, VA)

Carp - 30 (Ackerson Lake, MI)

Northern - 37.5 (Lake Columbia, MI)

Muskie - 45 (Lake St. Clair, MI)

Crappie - 13.5 (Burke Lake, VA)

Brown Trout - 26 (Lake MI, MI)

Walleye/perch - 32 (White Lake, Ontario)
