PierBridge
Checks cashed? ... insufficient funds return to sender Jan 18, 2008! . Oh and by the way Chris Hovan has played in as many Pro Bowls as I HAVE! 2nd team All Pro for us in 2002 if that helps! And to think we could still have him instead of the Williams wall and Jared AllEN ...LOL! "scratches head"
Jim Uran
Limit's the biggest poser out there!!! He doesn't have ANY pride in his team, How can he run down the vikings and us fans when he won't even claim his own team? Wade, I think you are digging a little too far back in the archives!!! '96 whoopin!! What about back in 86 when we beat you twice... 42-7 and 32-6. lol!!! And we smeared you in the only time we met in the playoffs... Oh I feel soooooo much better now. lol!!! Steve Foss
Did you see that?? Because THAT just happened!! I can't believe that Vikings Fan has the nerve to open his mouth with the failure, not to mention the laughingstock of the league, his team has been up to this point (40+ years now?). There ain't enough "yeah but's" to overcome what's in the picture above. Go win something and then get back to me, otherwise go sit in the corner and zip it because your mouth is writing checks your trophy room can't cash. Yawn. Badger
Wade, I think we're going to have to have a get-together for Packer fans/LaCrossians down near Souptown this football season. Even if Favre and the Vikes beat the Pack, we'll still have our pride. All the Vikes fans have is their hopes, which is a lot like those geeky losers who mope around the bars a half hour before closing time imagining some chick will lower her standards for the night. Compared with the Lavender Queens, the Packers are the Lords of the Rings. The Vikes fans basically are Orcs with horns and pretensions. The good news for Vikes fans is that they don't need to learn math. You win or you lose. Win enough and you are champions, and you don't have to count to listen to the TVbuffoons tell you you've won. Lose and you go home, and you don't need even to listen to the TVbuffoons to know that, since that's what the Vikes have done since their inception. In other words, after losing the biggest games during the whole history of the franchise, being The Biggest Loser has now become part of Vikings fans' genetic memories. Ugh, it's gotta be tough for Vikes fans to choke down that chicken bone, eh? Well said Steve! Bring on Favre....he might help the purple win the division, but they will not win a championship. Then it's back to square one looking for a QB for the future. I am sure that when you add the zaniantics of Randy Moss leaving the field before the game was actually over, against the Washington Redskins a few years back or his " I play when I want to" mentality and his mopping around didn't help, or how about the embarrassing stint aboard the S.S. Brainless, where a few of the Vikings players decided to take a boat excursion with some people of the opposite sex leading to a forgettable adventure, that we as Vikings fans can surely live without. Then their are the misdemeanors, battles with traffic cops, drug and steroid use and sexual assault issues, that have plagued the team for eons it seems. These past and present players shall be not identified, though they know who I am talking about. Some of these are on field antics, but most are off the field. You wonder how much this plays a part in the teams overall chemistry, spirit, players psyche and ability to focus on the game day in and day out of the short 16 game season. Combined with the players that the Vikings select in this years 2008 college draft should offer Vikings fans a great chance of getting to the Super bowl, instead of just watching other teams play in the big game, while the Vikings(and their fans) fall painfully short once again. Jim Uran
I'd rather fall painfully short than lag way behind like the Packers are used to doing!
PierBridge
Quote: but they will not win a championship. Wow Badge.. what a call! For the 3rd straight year I'm predicting the New England Patriots and TOM BRADY will not win the championship ... Yes I passed 5th grade math which led me to that stellar conclusion!.. fishinphilth
So when the Viks win the super bowl with Farve at the helm, is it because of him having a AP and D, or is it that AP and the D having a QB that can keep the D off the field and AP running all over the place? eyehunter
Just read on PFT that he may announce on Friday (this week) if he will be returning or not.
Jim Uran
He'll wait until the MLB trade deadline to announce so that he can upstage any major trades if there are any.
Born2Fish
Those past trophies are nice and pretty and shiny, but that 6-10 record last year has a LOT of work to do. I personally could care less what the Packers did back in the days of cavemen and dinosaurs. We aren't playing those teams this year. And one of your Superbowl QB's just happens to be headed out to the purple and gold. How much longer are Packer fans going to live in the past and realize their team of today? I guess it's hard to let go of all you have when your team is so bad right now.

LMITOUT
Quote: All-Pro receiver Randy Moss was so distressed that he wondered about the team's future. "It's going to be hard for us to win a Super Bowl in Minnesota," said Moss, who managed only two receptions for 18 yards. "I don't want to say Minnesota will never win a Super Bowl, but it is going to be hard." Kerry Collins? ouch. 381 yards and five touchdowns? OWNED!
