BrianLucky13
Get rid of the Vikings but keep da Bears!!! Vikings mean nothing to me as a Packers fan. Only good thing about the queens is I dont have to drive as far to see the Packers play!!
Steve Foss
Ah, but when the Bears are weak, the Vikes are strong, and when the Vikes are weak, the Bears are strong. This means the Pack must be strong at all times. Well, that's the theory, anyway. They're not likely to be really strong this year.
Born2Fish
It's like a broken record: The packers won a Superbowl, and the Vikings haven't. That is the ONLY thing I hear come from the Pack fans. It's good to have something to say about a rival when your team is no good. Must be hard looking down that road with Rodgers and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. I know it's tough when your QB is no good(Vikes fans know this!). But look at the bright side pack fans, you get to see your all mighty leader, Brett Favre, beat you twice this year!! Steve Foss
It's like a broken record: The packers won a Superbowl, and the Vikings haven't. No, the Packers won three Super Bowls, and won a bunch of NFL Championships before the Super Bowl had been invented. And I believe that, with Favre at the helm, the Vikes will be VERY difficult to beat, unless they beat themselves. I fully expect them to do better than the Pack this year, possibly MNUCH better. Do I like that? Nope, but if you're not having a good year, you remember the championships and good times and console yourself that your team will once again be on top some year down the road. That's probably what I'll be doing this fall, while all the while still cheering on my team. When you're a Vikings fan and times are hard, you have no championship glory days to relive. These are simply the facts as I see them. Your results may vary, of course. Maybe this is the Vikings' year to get to and win the Bowl. If they get there and my Packers don't, I'm going to be rooting hard for the purple. I'd like to see one of the old Black-and-Blue division teams beat those AFC pukes. Dave S
I am not a T-Jack lover, but I think we could get something for him. He is young, has some experience, he has some potential, and would be a good back up for a veteran QB, and like most other QB's we cut, end up being good on a different team! Good thing you said "most other QBs". Culpepper was horrible without Randy.
LMITOUT
Must be hard looking down that road with Rodgers and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. I know it's tough when your QB is no good(Vikes fans know this!). Rodgers is no good? Thanks, I needed a good laugh today!
Born2Fish
Sure I will say it again too. Rodgers is no good. When your team goes from 13-3 to 6-10, what does that say? T-Awesome had some good numbers last year too, does that make him good? Nope.
LMITOUT
The Pack's defense (or lack thereof) was the reason for a majority of their losses last year, not the new QB, and it's that's pretty well known. They lost a lot of close games while putting up some great offensive numbers, only for the defense to take the field and let the other team march down the field. Now I'm not saying he's Joe Montana, but he was pretty solid for his first full year under center.Does picking on the other teams QB somehow make you feel better about the Vike's horrible QB situation (Jackson, Booty, Sage)? Maybe it's envy? Dunno. But saying Rodgers is no good is erroneous.
BrianLucky13
Rogers was ranked in the top 5 for QB's last year!!!
Jim Uran
But the Packers still sucked, blame it on the defense all you want. The Broncos had a horrible defense but they still at least went .500. Rogers is a good QB, but you cheddarheads were seriously lacking in the running game also, which made Rogers pass more and blowing up his stats. BrianLucky13
They might have sucked but they still beat the vikings one game last year, because the vikings sucked too!!! Gonna be a fun year of football this year though!!! Cant wait!!
LMITOUT
As long as he's completing passes who cares? The running game doesn't win championships anyway. Just ask the the Cardinals and the Steelers last year.
Sandmannd
Rogers is a decent QB, I wouldn't mind a kid like that on the Vikes. Will he end up great? Who knows, but he's shown he's pretty solid.
Steve Foss
Rodgers is solid. He was not the Pack's problem last year and I doubt he'll be the Pack's problem this year.
Jim Uran
I said he was a good QB, but the packers still sucked. And come on LMIT I bet those were your two favorite teams last year... LOL!! You do have to have a good defense though...In all honesty I think we have a decent chance with ol Favre at the helm. I don't think we have that great of an O line though so it might be tough for that ol fart to stay healthy. I can't wait until September.. It's the best time of year. Born2Fish
Sorry Rodgers still sucks! Sure he may in all honesty be a good QB. But he wears Packers green, so my friends he sucks in my book! It could be Tom Brady or any one of the elite QB's in the league and I will still say the same thing. If he isn't wearing purple and gold, I don't like him. FISHINGURU
rodgers was a great qb last season for his first year under center..he looked like a seasoned vet out there....the only problem is the defense gave up almost every single close game in the last couple minutes and they don't have the lucky horseshoe that used to be lodged up their rears when they had favre...favre brings that dumb luck factor...thats just what the vikes need because we normally have that bad luck where anything that could possibly go wrong does lol.if i had to choose the best qb in the division i'd pick rodgers....i"ll give ya that since thats about all ya got muahahahahahahhaha....we are gonna destroy the pack this year though woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I would have to go with Cutler now. Sorry, but Rodgers didn't impress me one iota last year. I can still see that [PoorWordUsage] prancing around in the end zone, then running out of it like a scared little girl
FISHINGURU
yeah when i watch both qb's i think rodgers is further along then cutler with less playing time....i think cutler is a little over rated especially now that he has to be a bear lol...he would of been better on our squad....we are gonna shred cutler and even make him look worse.
