hhguide
To be honest I have no Idea what is the biggest one we have shot! We have shot a few that we almost cant lift their so big but I wouldnt even want to begin to guess a weight becuase I honestly dont know. I have a few farmers that enjoy them in their fields so I drop them off with them! I keep a few of the smaller ones for smoking!

bassNspear
when i worked at the meat market, we had guys that brought carp in all the time to smoke them. For myself, I cant eat them, knowen the situation of where they live in the water!Alot of older farmers love them!
Neighbor_guy
I did some cold clear spring flood water carp last year in the smoker and can not wait to do it again this year. Otherwise, The garden and window boxes look great. I gave them (cheeeeeeep) to a guy for bear bait a couple years ago, beer was good. Counting down the days till May 1st. The goal for this year, break 20bls on the buffalo scale, and locate some MN Gar. I hear they are fantastic on the table!!!! As far as personal best, I tagged one (Common) that went 32 a couple of seasons ago. Now I think it is more fun to see how small I can hit. 25+lb fish are larger targets, but those 3-5-8lb fish smoke better.

Ralph Wiggum
Looks like fun! Can't wait to get out this spring. I didn't get to do much last year, but I hope to tag some healthy fish this year!

broken_line
i use my 70Lb bear instinct and it can pass trough at 20 yards and easily can get 2 fish on the ame arrow.. at 5 feet i can get 3 or 4.. are those can type reels worth the $$??? Neighbor_guy
I shoot an AMS Retreaver and won't shoot anything else. If that is the "can type" you are fefering to, then yes, they are worth every penny.
ac777
I think Im going to get myself an AMS this year. I used a normal reel last year but I guess AMS is the way to go.
ec30_06
I have used many different types of reels/line holders and the ams retriever is the way to go. I now have two bows rigged up with them.
