archerystud
I had to take next Friday off, BUMMER!!!Anyone been to the Class A games? Are they all General Admission seats? I'm thinking about taking my dad and my son down for the Class A games on Friday. I have a youth game that night so I can't make it to the AA games. Good Job!Archerystud, I'm almost posistive the Class A Tourney is General admission. AA is reserved seating for sure.
archerystud
Pier,I finally found the stats for the Class A semi-final last year and attendance was under 10K. So there should be plenty of good seats at the X for that one.

so haaad
Anyone make it to the Edina/Jefferson game? Sounds like Edina looked awesome.
PierBridge
I thought about it but I didn't want to battle rush-hour traffic and all the crowds/kids at the U of M.Kind of surprising how easily Edina handled Jefferson in that one.I'm heading to St. Peter for the New Ulm/Hutch final tonight. CrappieBart
Edina looked great. I was not surprised how edina beat them, so many people under estimate the Classic Lake. Edina is the team to beat in AA, I am pulling for Little Falls in A. As long as it's a public school that wins, I hate private school teams. They'll have to get past the Warriors!!! Who knows, we'll find out what the brackets and 1-4 seeds look like on Monday or so. I'd like to see LF get past the first round though. quackersmacker
I hear you guys! As long as the private schools are out i'm happy. Anytime an outstate team gets in over a metro team it makes me smile! No matter who you cheer for, this is truly the best time of the hockey year! Good luck to all public and outstate schools! Wapiti
It looks like Edina will be very hard to beat unless they lay an egg...they were great last night!!
quackersmacker
Yeah from what I have seen this year Edina is tough. We will see who puts it all together and has a hot goalie for the tourney. Should be fun to watch, as always!
Jordyn Kaufer
Stillwater 4, hill murray 5, Double O.T. 8(i really dont like hill..hahait was the first time in 20 years that stillwater has been in the section Championship, and first time in 10years that we've played hill
so haaad
It's too bad both Stillwater and Centennial lost last night.
so haaad
Looks like we could see Little Falls vs Warroad in the small school finals.
squeedunk
I was at the Coliseum last night and saw Blaine and Hill move on. I don't think either team will beat Eden Prarie or Edina. If Centennial could bury the puck they could have been up by 3 or 4 after the first period. Unfortunately for them they couldn't score and their goalie finished with a save percentage in the 70s making Blaine look much better than they really are. In the late game Stillwater was taking it to Hill when they played physical in the first 2 periods. Then they played Jacques Lemaire hockey in the third and let Hill have the game. It's too bad, I was hoping Stillwater could pull it out and take out another private school.I'm really looking forward to Wednesday and Thursday now! This is a great time of year! ole
I was at the game too. All I kept thinking was, If Centennial doesn't put the puck in the net with all the chances they had in the 1st period they are doomed. As it turned out Blaine puts the puck in and game over. The difference in the game, Blaines goalie played a championship calibre game while Centennials goatender let some very questionable goals get by. I wish I would have stayed to watch Stillwater vs Hill, much better game then Cent vs Blaine! Looks like Edina again

True Quackaddict9. Anything can happen. You need great goaltending at this point plus you need to be hot. Right now Edina is hot. I'm pulling for Blaine since they took Centennial out. I'll be at the Thursday afternoon game Hill vs Eden Prairie, should be a good game, followed by Blaine vs Rochester. Go Bengals ole

fishyguy
It is nice to STA got knocked out. They should be playing AA. I also believe STA should move up but if true than so should Warroad, Hermantown, Marshall and Little Falls as teams that have experienced similar success to STA over the last 5 years or so. This year STA has beat Hill, Cretin, Moorhead, and Minnetonka. That is a pretty good AA resume.
