COLD water largies - open water

Recommended Posts

I have a pond near my house that has some largemouth in it and it is opening up enough to fish (ice coming off) but I wanted to get some input from you guys about techniques to try when the largies are letharic early in the year - water is 38 degrees...maybe up to 40 by saturday...

Please let me know what techniques you would recommend - can sight fish a little.

My buddy went out and said it seemed with a senko they would come up, investigate and swim away slowly.

Thank you in advance for your input on how I can coax these babies into doin' a little feedin'...on my hook.
