Where can a guy still get some ice fishing stuff locally? Went to most major stores in the metro area and they are weeding out the hardwater stuff for the softwater stuff. Inventory isn't what it was a few weeks ago

I'd run over to Thorne Brothers if you can make the drive. Sportsman's warehouse in Woodbury had a large selection of ice stuff when I dropped in last week too.

Fleet, Thorne Bros, Vados all should have stuff for ya. Can order some online as well.

Don't rule out some of the bait shops. They may also be worth checking out. Always good to give them some extra business IMO.

Just got back from "The warehouse" in woodbury and they are a little thin on inventory, F&F is picked thru also. I guess I'll try to get to thorne bro's or just order online.

That's what I'd do. I know the local bait stores near me still have a good selection. There is some open water stuff coming out but they'll have ice fishing stuff until at least the end of February and probably well into March.

Cabelas had thin pickings about 3-4 weeks ago already. I thought that was too soon. But then I went in JC Penneys in the River Hills Mall and they had shorts out in the mens section. Crazy.

I just giving a hard time being that is where I grew up. Do not know if that is a good thing to brag about.

I was just at Cabelas in Rogers . They were completely picked over unless you want a Marcum LX-5. They had a pallet full of them.
