Protective case for a new H20C?

Wife got me a new GPS for my birthday -- when I opened it, I discovered that it only came with a lanyard and 12V adapter, but no case to put it in....

Figured for as many on this site have this unit, there have to be a bazillion good ideas of what you guys use to protect/store this in.

Any solutions?

Thread Hyjack question.... Any word on if you will be able to get a credit and trade in the outdated Lake Master chips for a new one ?

How do you know your lake will be on the 09? Have you found a 2009 list? Or, are you just hopeful that the 09 version will have your honeyhole on it?

Yes for sure.

Right now I don't have a screen protector big enough to cover my 522. So I have 2 smaller ones spliced in to cover the screen. The seam is a bit noticeable but the Screen is protected.

It is a lakemaster "HD" surveyed lake, It'll be on there (I hope, lol)!

I went to the local Shopco store and got a universal screen protector. They're clear and self adhesive but removable and about $5, if I recall correctly. You just stick it on and trim to size. Phred52

Hopefully, my new case (bought the Ultimate GPS case) should be in the mail today/tomorrow...

Since the H2O sinks like a rock, I recommend the Dry Pack GPS case's.

Still functional when inside the case, but if you drop it in the hole or overboard, the unit and case will float allowing for recovery.
