Hammer Handle
The legislature won't help Ziggy get a new stadium so they are gone after 2011 anyway so don't fret about coaches and quarterbacks. Their outta here! I see it coming too.The Vikes will be gone in 5 years...or sooner. What a sad day that will be....

Yeah....Arizona is terrible...get over it you bet their terrible. The Vikes pounded them into the ground. Then the Vikes choke against a so-so Philly team and then the Cards beat Philly.Don't get me wrong. I think AZ is a better team than some give them credit for. I would like nothing more than to see AZ beat Pitt, I just don't think it's going to happen.

JeffB
I've been watching the vikes as long as I can remember, but I'm tired of pro sports teams extorting thier communities for new staduims. With their salaries and revenue they can build thier own place of business. It will be a sad day when they go, but I'll get over it.

kr8r.tom
i hope the next financial meltdown is pro sports. hundreds of dollars just to take a family to a sporting event is rediculous, it needs to be restructured, it's gotten way too inflated on the owners revenue and players salaries. Hammer Handle
Pro Sports will never "meltdown". Too many people into it and it is a "release" for the average working man.As long as people pay $$ for the tickets...the price will only go up...not down. A few weeks back I was working overnights so listening to ESPN radio and the host was talking about the NFL network and that with most cable providers its an upgrade package one would have to pay and he put the question out there asking if fans believe that NFL games would soon be PPV. Interesting, if they do get to a "bailout" point, could it happen?

JeffB
If it ever goes PPV that would make them lose a lot of fans, I would be one of them.
