wastewaterguru Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 The walleyes to me are like catching carp.....just something to do when the real gamefish aren't cooperating. They're pretty fun on light tackle though.I think my picture has better reflections in the background anyway. There are quite a few different spots producing fish for us and that's always a bonus.......keeps it fun. I caught the big one on 8 pound braided line and a 1/8 ounce jig with a 3 inch twister tail..........but also got a nice eater on 20 pound braided line with a half ounce jig and a 6" purple power lizard trailer.......I knew I'd get some use out of the old bass fishing plastics some day.They aint afraid of big baits that's for sure.
