I wanted to take a picture of a White Stoni that I used for the past two outings.... it was responsible for an estimated 150 crappies coming up through the hole.... but it was finally pulled off late this afternoon by a thieving fish which was never seen..... cool

Shallow water perch Maki and Super Maki I like them both on a gold Kastmaster or Sidewinder 1/8 oz., I hang it horizontally off one of the trebles and use 2 anchor points two secure the plastic to the hook... OOps Forgot, watch out for 20" small mouth bass they have been know to crush it and walleyes winklaugh

They do have their place Iceman! Im not as an extensive user as some, only suggestion is to start with a few proven models in certain colors. Rather than buyin a propack which has a lot you may not use for ice fihing. You can rack up a good bill qucikly trying to equip with all the plastics!

Maki,Buggi and Stoni in Chartreuse, white, motor oil are a solid place to start. Now thats my opinion and everyone here prolly uses different ones but these are my fav 3 that seem to cover the pan fish cravings.

Maki Plastics...I don't think I have any of those yet whistle

Sure.... Then how come when we left the show I had to help you carry them you had so many??? crazy

I tend to use mostly darker colors. White has it's place but I like the naturals...

My thoughts are to think of your color selection in real clear water use natural colors and the darker the water, brighter colors. I tend to think that dark colors work really good when the fish are coming up for the bait . . . contrasts against the ice. I try to keep my selection simple as well.

I've been using Scott's stuff for three years... have boxes and boxes of his baits in a rainbow of colors..... 2 "go-to's are Red and White.... then Natural; Root beers, motor oil, bluegill flecks,

I stocked up on Red and White in a variety of styles at the show though.... if there's fish under you they'll be on the ice......eventually.... Oh and some of his older "glow" have been known to work too.....

Very nice Franky...that's a great way to look at it.

All I ever see you use, is 1/2 ounce Purple Sweedish Pimples tipped with a 5 inch SpotTail Shiner crazy
