frogtosser
yea, dump the stiff, I just think childress coaches boring football, if there was no AP they would be lucky to get ten pts a game
FISHINGURU
i'd take shanahan in a heartbeat...he's a great coach with alot of experience.cowher has no interest in being a head coach next year i have no idea where you heard he was willing to talk to the jets.it will be tough for zigy to fire childress if we make it deep into the playoffs...now if we get blown away this weekend it wouldn't be as tough especially if we were in talks with one of the bigger name coaches. In that case, Go Vikes!!! Childress has been a great acquisition for the Packers.
Sandmannd
I'd love to see Shanahan here. Imagine what he could do with AP!! But he gets 20 mil over the next three years. I doubt he's in a hurry.
lawdog
Childress just brought the team its first division championship since 2000, there is no way Wilf is even thinking about firing him. This is a nonsensical discussion!

But the negotiations never advanced to scheduling a formal meeting."
FISHINGURU
thats great that the team planned on sitting down with cowher but he doesn't have any plans to sit down with them lol.

croixflats
Childress just brought the team its first division championship since 2000, there is no way Wilf is even thinking about firing him. This is a nonsensical discussion! Well then Wilf will whiff on this. If he cant see that his teem had a hard time winning a divisional championship in a division that is stacked full of mediocre and down right bad teams, then were going to be stuck at the middle of the league. Nonsense on the nonsensical.

Nonsense on the nonsensical. I agree with you Curt. You have a devision where the worst team in the history of the league is in it and then there's the Lions and Bears!! Seriously, they hardly squeeked it out. I'm not a Childress fan at all. He doesn't use his stars properly and is just horrible at play calling and clock management.
