4 more inches of the white stuff in Rome last night And it's starting to snow again

Cars covered in ice again this morning and rain on the way The rain will help beat the snow down a bit but none of the good fishing lakes are that close to being safe yet here!

I like it knocked my snow banks down a couple of feet so i have even more room to stack more white stuff. This could be a blessing in disguise boys, at least I hope it is

It rained pretty hard and was windy for several hours last night here in Madison County.The snow got knocked down a lot and I am sure it was a tremendous help for our ponds here. We only got a dusting here and the wind blew all of it into Massachusettes. We are good to go for tomorrow boys. I will take a drive today and spud/drill some waters!

Lee's out there fishing today, he'll need about 3 coats of camp dry on his scout. Raining here as well. Off to the dealer shortly cleaned up the inside of my Venture as much as one can in the rain. Were trying to buy in Rome, will see what Gabe can do on the 08 T&C as we have a couple Uplander options and hour away.

We got heavy rain and a thunderstorm last night into early morning. Now it looks like the rain is staying north of us and soaking you guys. Were gonna head south for the afternoon to "the" crappie "pond"

34 degrees now and they are caling for 50 tomorrow. THunderTodd, our ice will survive these two days then temps look good all week...

It's balmy and sprinkling with temps around 40*. If it gets cold or at least around 32* tonight, we should be able to get out on the ice tomorrow.

This is just BULL-@#$T. I FINALLY got on the ice and now it will be gone! Oh well it was a little thin anyways as it was cracking and making other noises when walking on it. I'm calling it 2.5" Did however ice some nice perch though. Now I'll have to get the boat back out!

I new I would be getting over this cold about the same time the temps went back down where they belong. Should be over it by Thurs, Friday at the latest, Then I can finally hit the ice.

23* and Heavy snow we have about 5 inches of snow here and still coming down at a pretty good clip.

3" here and still snowing, glad I got the auger belt changed out yesterday

Probably 6" of lite and fluffy snow has fallen on a very thin new sheet of ice on the perch pond hopefully the wind blows the snow off and the ice remains

More snow here also and winter is settling in for good it seems. I'm finally giving up hope on any more walleye trolling now as there's too much ice and it's time to get the motor winterized and take the Lowrances off the Lund til next year

Just got done shoveling 6" out of my drive not to mention all the stuff the snowplow deposited at the end of my drive and in front of the mailbox. Thank god for pain meds. Yepper I think winter is here to keep us company for a while. Now we just need the wind to clean off the ice for us.

Its holding at 1* right now light wind and no more snow.Why can't we get these cold snaps before it snows, we would be in alot better shape on ice conditions .
