what to use???

i havent really fished in the fall for bass mainly targeting walleyes and i was wondering what is best to use during fall or late fall? i was thinking about slow falling things like weightless senkos or maybe a jig n pig or frogs

Had decent success last weekend with a jig with craw trailers on docks, then inside weed edge.

we are fishing very close to the turnover. Before it happens many lures will work, afterward I tend to downsize quite a bit because of the stress the fish go through during turnover.

once turnover happens do you still find them shallow, do they roam, or do they go back down deep again. I have always had trouble finding them much after this time of the year.

I personally think many fish go deep. Some of the guys I fish with catch them down in the 30-35' range.

wow, yeah that would explain why I always have trouble finding fall fish I dont know if I have ever looked that deep.

One more questain In hastings there is a small lake that dosent get real deep anywere. Will they look for warmer water this time of year or would you still try and find them on deeper structure. Thanks

I couldnt find a fish deep to save my life today.. Water temp was 48-51.. But green weeds shallow with a little wind pushing them around. And it was game on.. Fished from 10am till I got too cold(didn't dress warm enough)at 3pm, probably caught 40 fish.. All on an Outkast Swim Jig. Was a hoot. Most fish were around 2 lb, biggest was 3.5, so not killer size, but still fun!
