merc
I need to wash my jacket and was wondering if anyone has done this. Did it lose any of the warmth? Just curious. Thanks!!
ArcticArmor1
Merc, Washing your Arctic Armor apparel will not have any effect on thermal insulation. Our exclusive insulator, INSULTEX, will never lose its capabilities as long as you launder it correctly. (Cold water wash and hang dry, no heat!) I have washed my jacket at least a dozen times and it looks and performs the same way it did the first time I used it. The outer fabric is oil and stain resistant so it will continue to look good for a long time. Thanks for joining our team!
Sandmannd
Yep, I've washed mine twice in cold and hang it up and it looks like the day I bought it. Still freakin' warm too!!!
Lisa Almquist
I haven't washed mine yet so it's good to hear testimonials that it doesn't lose it affectiveness! Good deal!
Doop
I have a $500 gift card to any retail fishing store of my choice....that's why I was wondering which stores carried the Arctic Armor.
Jim Almquist
Doop I have this little picture of you putting your AA in the freezer and putting it on when its frozen so you can go out and do the yard work The 2 times I have been to Dallas it has been between 90 and 100 with about 100% humidity. Doop
lol....well...this summer we have 28 or 29 days over 100 degrees...and today it feels like the Amazon rainforest it's so humid. I have 3 years left of being stuck in this state...then it's back to God's country! I get to go ice fishing twice a year...generally 2-5 day trips...and I've never owned a nice pair of bibs or a parka. It's always long underwear and layer on top of layer after that. I'm really looking forward to getting these bad boys! Putting them in the freezer is a good idea though!

Doop
Cabelas said they carry them but only in gray/black blue/blackI would think they would have a better selection than that.
Sandmannd
Do they even come in those colors yet? I thought it was just red/black and camo. Might want to check they know what they are talking about Doop.Course I could be wrong too.
BigWadeS
I think Cabelas only has their brand and Guidewear, but I could be wrong, I was just looking at their site for a set and I didn't see AA as a brand
Team Otter
Cabela's does not carry Arctic Armor. Based on the colors you describe, my guess is that they told you about Ice Armor, which is a completely different product from Arctic Armor. Doop
Yeah that's what I figured....I didn't recognize any of the colors the guy from Cabelas was giving me so I kinda figured something was up. Does Gander Mountain sell them?
Scott K
Doop, try this, it should give you some ideas, Gander Mountain doesnt stock them either.http://www.idigear.com/retailers.php
Doop
Just to update for those who are wondering....Dick's Sporting Good's Store that is listed under i.d.i. retailers does NOT sell arctic armor. uhhhhh. Here's the deal.....I won a $500 gift to any store of my choice. Only stipulation is the store needs to offer gift cards....now if they don't offer gift cards but have a HSOforum they sell from...that might be a possibility too. Jim Almquist
Doop take a look here and see if that helps or ask to see if they can do something with your gift card. Outdoor pro store Artic Armour

Sandmannd
That's what I got. Nice and comfy and warm as heck. Plus room to have something underneath, not like you need it though.
ArcticArmor1
Just a heads up: Dick's Sporting Goods has ordered the Arctic Armor suits with a delivery date to their stores the first week of November. If anyone wants to purchase one now, please check out other reputable dealers who currently have the suits in stock at our HSOforum www.idigear.com.
