Waiting and watching...

So I am sitting on my computer looking out the window and watching this heavy rain just EAT the ice away, I am pretty sure that my lake will be open TOMORROW!!!

ALL I know is that spring is right around the corner and I have the ITCH more then I EVER had... SO WHO is with me???

Ditto. Putting in a dual bank charger, accessory port, new prop, and finishing spooling up the new rod/reels tomorrow. Hopefully I will be out on Wednesday or Thursday!

Yeah I just re-spooled my fliping stick with that Invisa-Braid from spyder-wire... I want to walk down to the lake and practice my flippin, I am sure it is RUSTY.

Anyone used the invisa-braid?? Thoughts or reviews?

Not very invisi imho and wraps just like any other spiderwire product. I personally can't stand braid though and only have it on one rod

I love braids and love fireline crystal. I assume it's a similar product. Really not THAT invisible.. but good stuff!

Power Pro is pretty tough to beat when it comes to braided line

Power Pro is ok but Stren Super Braid is the best braid on the market, I think. I have used a lot of different Braids for mat fishing and Super Braid hasn't gone flat as fast as others.

I agree as well. Never had any problems with it, and alway seems to hold up well

Tried both and cut the Power Pro off after a month or so to put Super Braid back on - more supple, holds color better, does not break as easily or go flat.

Just my experience though - I'm sure others feel the exact opposite.

Still throwing resumes that way but there have not been many openings to apply for in my field. Not to mention to sell the house at this point would be a bad deal for me. I guess I have to wait until the economy improves or I go crazy one winter.....
