How are they going to do this with the Twins playing and the Wild in the playoffs?

Anyone remember?

I am in "Greater" MN,so I don;t get my 29 or 45 or whatever. Those games just get put on FSN.

Anyone know what they are going to do?

My guess would be they would play the Twins games when they're scheduled. The Wild games scheduled on FSN will obviously be on FSN but the games on 45 will NOT be on FSN!

Not 100% sure, but I'm an out of stater, just fortunate to have DirecTV. However my girlfriend doesn't, so when I'm there I notice if theres a conflict, the FSN regular programming is sometimes used over those channel 45 Sunday Twins games. Probably the same case for the Wild in the playoffs.

You might just have to go to a bar or find a friend with Versus!

Check the hockey forum post - TV Schedule. Look at some of the responses because apparently FSN might be playing the games for the out-of-state viewers. You might want to check with your service provider.

Just heard from our local cable provider and they are going to carry Wednesday (today) on a local FOX station and keep the Twins on FSN and when there is no game on FSN they will be there.

I was starting to sweat -- glad I can see two of my favorite teams.

That's why so many people play soccer...so they don't have to watch it!

Watching soccer isnt anything like watching paint dry. Atleast when watching paint dry there are bound to be a few streaks! Soccer a streak is considered when the team scores a goal in 2 games in a row!

haha yeah its boring I agree!

ANYWAYS - Does anyone know if the Twins are going to be on TV with the Wild on FSN tonight? I was hoping to watch both and flip to the Twins during Wild commercials.

You are right wandering. The Twins game tonight will not be televised.

Wild on at 8 on FSN. You would sure think someone would pick up the Twins game. I bet the Twins game would get ratings just as good as the Wild. There have already been quite a few non-televised games and it is just the start of the season.

Kinda maddening.

You would rather watch the Twins over the Hockey playoffs? I think the Twins have like 150 more games you can watch later. The start of the season....who really cares????

Probably everyone that posts in this forum. Nothing wrong with flipping back and forth.

I like hockey also, but I wouldn't be so surprised. Hockey is followed just about as closely nationally as soccer, table tennis and croquet.

You are probably right Willy. So much for "The State of Hockey"

My point was that there are plenty of the twins games to watch. The opening games don't mean much when there are so many.

How about that channel that the Royals usually play on? RSN or something like that? Is it on there. I see its on FSN Midwest I wonder if I dont have that available with DirecTV..... Well its too bad to miss yet another Twins game. What will I watch during commercials? THE WOLVES?????

How do the opening games not mean much? What happens if you lose the division by one game? I am thinking that 3 game of the season when you lost...it meant something.

I'd rather watch...Soccer, Baseball, Football, Nascar, Tennis, Oprah...before Hockey!
