lawdog
That 24 looks like an old Loomis set up car today! What did they do to that piece of junk???? Good grief!
harvey lee
He really stunk it up. They are really have a hard time this year and yes, they are a much better team than the season they are having. JJ was having issues and they seem to have started to figure it out and I do believe that soon, Jeff will also be there.
Sifty
Time will tell, it looked to me that had no idea what the set-up should have been.Sifty

Sifty
JGR has a pretty good day today.I thought the 48 was going to run out of gas the way he was on the apron on that last caution. Did they every say way he was running like that ?Sifty
polarsusd81
Sifty, it sounded like they had him running on the apron to make sure they didn't have any fuel pickup problems. I fell asleep right at the beginning of the race and woke up about 125 laps into it. Went out on the river this morning and needed a nap after trying to control the boat in the current. I was upset that Gordo finished at the back as well. I hope he picks it up here. When I got up, I had to ask my buddy what the heck was going on cause his car didn't look messed up and they didn't say anything about him til he pulled back out on the track. Sifty
Sounds like this fuel pick-up thing may be a problem with all the teams.Hamlin had it a couple of weeks ago.Did they change somthing in the layout of the tank or is this a heat deal?Sifty
metrojoe
The pick up is actually on the right side(or high side) of the tank.
HOF#13
I don't think it was a problem for the Hendrick cars, I just think they were just beng cautious about it. I know Tony Eury Jr. told Dale Jr. on that last caution that he had about 3 gallons of gas left in the fuel cell so just be aware so there isn't a fuel pick-up issue. At least no one from the Hendrick camp has said it is an issue that I'm aware of.
