Grab shot....

Lots of great photos on the forum today. I'm working on wedding photos and won't be able to respond to many of them until later, but just wanted everyone to know I'm thinkin' about them!

Did stop at my folk's place for a bit after the wedding and got a chance for one grab shot of this guy before the dogs chased him away.

Awesome shot, I have never been able to get close enough to one with a camera in my hand. No camera and I can praitcally step on them walking through the woods.

Just got back from photographing a wedding myself, Ken. Man, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. gets to be a workout, but weddings are so much fun. Sweet shot of a pileated! Of course, I've always been partial to redheads.

Well I just got in from doing a Prom and am going through my days shots as well sitting in the hotel with my feet up. Great wood pecker shot. I had a couple of pheasant close ups today but one was over exposed and one was under exposed and then he ran away before I get #3.
