Deitz Dittrich
Mike, that first image may be my fave loon shot ever.... simply awesome. Nothing else to say.
buzzsaw
Hey thanks, Dietz! I wasn't sure how much I liked it at first as I was too close and wasn't able to get the entire subject matter in the frame... so I just focused tightly on the interaction as I slowly moved backwards with the remote trolling motor. JohnK
Outstanding! The best loon shots I've seen for a long time, you could sell those prints out here for sure. Were those taken with a 300 F/4 + 1.4x TC?
buzzsaw
Thanks, John! Such nice praise!I use the Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 and at times attach the Nikkor 1.4x teleconverter or the 2x TC... I generally don't use a TC when photographing Loons, no need.
