Hey thanks, Dietz! I wasn't sure how much I liked it at first as I was too close and wasn't able to get the entire subject matter in the frame... so I just focused tightly on the interaction as I slowly moved backwards with the remote trolling motor.

I use the Nikkor 300mm F/2.8 and at times attach the Nikkor 1.4x teleconverter or the 2x TC... I generally don't use a TC when photographing Loons, no need.
