At any rate, I'll be watchin the idol and at 8:00 watch the WEC boys pound the bejeebers out of one another...eat some garlic dill pickles, drink a half warm beer and a couple shots of Tabasco, eat half an raw onion and call it a night!

TD...you didn't actually believe me did you? I've been prone to fabricate things once in awhile!

About the only thing I ate before hitting the sack....after watching the WEC of course, was a lemon ice...I don't even drink and Tabasco sauce is not my favorite stuff.....I like to embellish on things, don't ya know?

And yes, as further stated, ice cream in all it's splendor, is about the best thing going, I try to not to over indulge, eating no more then a gallon of ice cream a week and no more then 2 stops a week at the DQ a week. As it stand it hasn't harmed me yet, I still cut a handsome figure...5 foot 4 inches and 431 pounds of solid...wait, we won't got there.

Who is gonna go from the boys side? My vote would be the black guy Chickeze or whatever his name is and the guy who sang Moon River, lame! There are a few others that just have to go early but that is my vote for the first two whackings to come on Thursday. And now it's Ladies Night and the feelings right (Oh what a night) Pardon my Kool and The Gang there!

I see it a little differently. I am going to go with Moon River guy and that carpet cleaner guy. I think his name was Luke. Chickadee or whatever his name is, was not good but he will get through.

I could go with that, but there were a couple of others (can't remember names ever) that could go as well. I like the rock chick that sounds like janis though. But I'm a rocker at heart.

I don't understand why all these young kids pick such boring songs. It might show off your voice (if you sing it right) but it's boring to watch. Have some fun and pick some up beat songs for once.

There were really only a few that stuck out as good.....it's too early for me to remember names, but the rock chick and the cute blond were good.......for the guys, the one with the dreads and the rocker guy.......(one more week and I should be able to add names)........I have to agree with sandmannd, the song choices were AWFUL!!!! Seems like these kids could at least add some "youth" to the way they were singing them.......

I say it the two model girls going home. The plus size model girl and the trade show model girl who sang "Where the Boys Are". She was nice to look at but could not sing.

My money would be on the black girl whose father died right before her first audition or the hot little Oriental girl. Got to be one of them, but the boys are bringing some heat as well.

I got two of the 4 right, the plus sized model and that long haired kid...but, but, I get an honorable mention, because I picked him and Jacuzzi and Jacuzzi did step up to the mike and so did that one blond girl, the first one to sing the other night, those where my 4 choices.

At this point, going on the last performances, I'd say that for the guys, that David Arcupeletta (sp) and that Hernandez kid (I think thats his name?)look pretty good to be in the finals.

For the girls, I'd say that girl whose dad just got out of rehab and that splayed toothed blond. I believe the babes have a better representation then the guys this year.

But who knows? I thought Daughtry would take it last year and it was Hicks? Hicks just got dropped by his recording label and Daughtry is going strong.

I should be out fishing, but here I'am writing about the Idol, waiting for some paint to dry so I can give it another coat (Remodeling the kitchen). Maybe tomorrow?

2/25/08....I did get out fishing, but I guess I should have watched some more paint dry! One little playing card sized crappie...wind was really hawkin! Blew my minnow bucket over and kept a constant string flyin from my nose....looked like I was on a leash!

I think that that Yeager guy and the long haired blond rocker will find themselves on the rail. That Noriaga kid should definately go, but I think his schtick will keep him around a time or two yet.

Still saying that David Archuleta (sp) and that Hernandez are the pace setters and they are the ones to beat as far as the guys go.

I am right there wit ya! I think Yeager has shown himself as a lame-o with Moon River and last night's karaoke-fest. He has to go and Danny should go (he is a little too light in the loafers for my taste) but I think he will get the Sanjiya fans vote and stick around for a few more weeks. I think that the long haired rocker is vulnerable as is the "Dawsons Creek" guy who is in love with Queen. He might get popped as well but it should be Danny Noriaga and Yeager is a must. I agree that Archuleta is the odds on favorite from the men and Hernandez could be a dark horse but the women are putting the boys to shame right now. I can think of 4 or 5 women that I would pick over any of the guys. Lets see how the ladies do tonight, they should be right in their wheelhouse with 70's songs.
