During the Bud Shootout's first practice the announcers called the wrong driver's name at least once. They say they have a bucket to put a dollar in for every time they do that this year. It is different looking at a number 9 on the Budweiser car, and Army on the 8.

Something both my wife and I noticed...after the first segment they interviewed unibrow...he said his car was a basically a brick. Then...out of nowhere, he and JG are up front?...

The sandbagging is getting old. Downplay the car but OH LOOK...it's performing fine... It's old Jimmy...just go race.

Me?...no...I'm not sour...I just don't care for the sandbagging that happens EVERY year with him...

Jr has aways done well at the R-plate Track. So I'll wait to see how he does on some different tracks, before I crown him.

Lets hope so, I'm still not thrilled with the whole "hendrick" thing though, but what do you do. I know it will help though it seemed like DEI was holding him back.

Agree....we will see. But, 4 Hendrick cars in the top 6 positions (if I remember correctly) at the very first event of the season is pretty impressive....AND an HMS car on on the pole for the 500. Pretty good start.

They will the the team to beat regardless if one likes them or not. They have it all together and have some pretty good drivers, teams and lots of moola.

I will wait and see. There are a few tracks he has trouble with like Vegas, Cali, Miami and Indy. If he improves at these tracks I would say it was the DEI cars.

If I remember correctly Cali, Indy he had engine probelms and even Miami too! So it should be hard to improve there. Time will tell

Here's a thought - Maybe Busch spun out on perpuse, he new he couldn't win and didn't want Tony to??????? How many times last year did HMS get a win because of a late caution???????

ya but he didnt do it cause he didnt want a certain drive to win.he also got fined for that.
