Lic question?

Does everyone in the fish house need a lic, got a wife who hasn't ever been out in a fish house and wants to come and read her book would she need a lic?

No as long as there are no lines in the water for her. If she is not fishing, no lic. needed

As long as you have two lines or less down you should be fine.

Ditto on what hawkeye43 said. Make sure a licensed angler is attending the lines and your fine. Or someone under 16 I believe who doesn't need one.

Like all the above have posted.. She will not need a licence, however, she is not allowed to assist you in any way. Silly law, but I get it. As long as you are only fishing your 2 lines and she doesnt help you at all. She will be fine.

Is very true. Just remember to bring a very huge book so you can stay out a long time

My wife fishes with me maybe once or twice a year. I just get the spouse licenses, only about $5 and it's worth it if you can get her on some fish a couple of times a year. Just a thought. For this case you don't need it though as long as she isn't fishing.
