so how does this work after this week..? do we pick more drivers or do the drivers stay the same and you just start over? I hope I just made sense

Your driver's start totals do not reset at that half-way point of the season. If you start your driver nine times during the first half of the season, he isn't eligible to earn any fantasy points (neither qualifying nor start points) for the remainder of the season.

Im still lost... cuz my A list I have 1 driver left for one more race, B list I have one driver left for 3 races and the other for 2 races. My C list I have one driver left for 1 race. So once they are tapped out at 9 races, you choose more drivers? Or am I just an one-who-thinks-I-am-silly

You don't have to stick with the same guys you used the first week. You can use others out of pools A, B, and C. You have to do that before the deadline, though. Yahoo won't switch between who is listed as an A, B, or C driver, so that will stay the same.

So you're saying you picked the initial 8 drivers and that's all you've done up until this point in the season?

You can select different drivers from the pool every week. So for group A, for example, there are 10 or something drivers listed. Every week you pick two out of that ten, and then obviously select one of those two after qualifying. You do this every week for each pool. One week you could have Gordon and Johnson selected prior to qualifying, and then the next week you could change those two for Stewart and Edwards, etc.

As long as you haven't used a driver for 9 races they are eligible to be started each week, but you have a list in each pool to select from so you shouldn't really max out any of them this soon unless you want to ride one guy because he's been hot, knowing that he won't be available after that.

I've been using the top guys somewhat sparingly so hopefully they'll perform when I need them at the end. The league kinda like a horse race where some come out of the gate strong and then struggle at the end to keep the lead where another will just keep a steady pace until the end and then breakout to the front for the win!

Yup thats what meaney has been doing. The deadline to change the drivers is typically late Thursday night. Before that pick any two drivers in the a list, any four in the b list, any 2 in the c list. After that you can only choose between the 2 drivers in the a list, the four in the b list and the 2 in the c list.

Its amazing you have done this well with only eight drivers!

Hey Airjer, is there any way that the rookie league and the veterans can be linked together so each group can see each other. It makes it exciting when you can view each team and see what drivers they have selected(after the race has started) and to see who they have used up. Just a though.
