Do we need an extension for the auger? I will bring it either way. Also, there is a tournament going on that day for anyone interested. It would be excellent if someone in our group was in the running for that. We should be there around 6:00am.

Wow, tough bite to say the least. They would come around, but just look and leave. I tied alot of 'old reliables' on, but nothing. I had one legitimate bite, but no hook-up. It seems that the bite is going to be later this month, I hope. Thanks to Paul for helping me load my portable up. \:\)

I was up on a lake way north on the way home from LOTW today and we found a pretty finicky bite considering we were on virgin water. There were a couple snowmobile tracks, but other than that nothing. I eventually started hooking up with a slightly larger genz worm in glow white tipped with an orange micro nuggie. Sorry to hear that the bite was slow to non-existant. When the barometer dropped Friday night, it really messed things up bad on LOTW.

Joe and I moved around about 8 times with the portable/truck looking for perchies. We caught them but nothing of size. The active biters were in 34ft of water but they were dinky ones. Bigger ones were biting in shallower water but it was a real slow bite. It's easier to catch them if you can move around outside the house. The wind and cold prevented that. The cabin was sweet! Sitting in front of the fireplace with a big screen above it, watching the hockey tournament, and sipping a cold one. Thanks Paul. I forgot to buy a hoodie on the way out..Grrrr. And those hats are pretty cool also.
