Most of these birds were shot there. Although a few of these ducks were shot in North Dakota. My wife's parents have some land up there. Lucky me! smg04 Posted November 25, 2007 Author Share Posted November 25, 2007 I made it down to the swamp today with my bro-in-law and his dad for what will be my last duck hunt of the year , but we finally got into the mallards!!!, they were everywhere and we were able to pick and choose our drakes and had our limit of greenheads by 1pm, they were decoying perfectly almost everytime. Almost all ducks seen today were mallards and there just wasn't much of anything else around, we passed on 2 greenwing teal that landed in the deeks right after shooting time in hopes of "better" ducks but we were able to smack one gadwall before we called it a day. my four greenheads . . .
